Describing Dennis Miller as prolific may just be the understatement that redefines the word. Since his first big break behind the Weekend Update desk on Saturday Night Live, Miller has written books, won Emmys, appeared in numerous movies, hosted several of his own talk shows and most recently has hosted The Dennis Miller Show on radio.
To say the man is a workaholic seems at odds with his laid-back, erudite personality. The man known for referring to men and women alike as "babe" and "cat" may be one of the most well-informed comics in history. So much so that it just may have cost him his short-lived job as color commentator on Monday Night Football. America just didn't get him.
But America still loves him, even if they're a little confused. Those that remember him only from his Saturday Night Live days may be surprised to learn that his radio program has a decidedly right-wing bent—and that it is still funny and intelligent.
Now he returns to The Orleans for a mix of his classic comedic bits mixed with new jokes with a slight political bent. Read up and laugh aloud.
